Students in my math group this term are working on concepts of place-value. This wiki is designed to be an extension of the classroom. I will use this space to outline the goals I have for your children, and upload videos of the skills we are learning in class. After viewing the videos it is my hope that you can reteach/reinforce the concepts your children learning in class, at home.

Represent and describe whole numbers to 1 000 000 (million)
Represent and describe whole numbers to 10 000, pictorially, and symbolically (ten thousand)
Compare and order numbers to 10 000 ( ten thousand)
PLO's broken down into math goals (ongoing list):
Students will identify the place-value of digits in 2, 3, 4-digit numbers
Students will learn ro write number-words for numbers with up to four digits
Students will practice representing 2, 3, 4-digit numbers using base ten block
Students will replace a number with its expanded number form and vice versa
